The Barrel Room at Triple C Brewing Wedding | Libby + Mitch
Brewery weddings might be my new favorite. As a craft beer aficionado myself, I enjoy visiting local breweries and love watching all walks of life come together to share a pint!
Libby got ready at the Omni Hotel in Uptown Charlotte with a gorgeous view of the city. She, along with her mom and sister, spent the entire time laughing. There may or may not have been an impromptu oven mitt puppet routine.
After everyone was dressed, they headed to the Barrel Room at Triple C Brewing for a simple ceremony followed rocking party, featuring the Hot Sauce Band. You know it’s a good party when the bride joins the band on stage for a few songs!
To me, its a privilege to document one of the biggest days of my client’s lives. Obviously, my focus is typically on the bride and groom, but I do try to make photos of as many of the guests as possible. I typically never know the story behind the photos of the other people at the wedding, but I’m grateful Libby shared a couple with me after I delivered their photos.
One of her best friends was due to have a baby on their wedding day. Libby had no idea she was there until they shared a quick embrace at the end of the aisle as the ceremony concluded! They left shortly afterwards and her daughter was born the next day. It was a special moment, and I’m so happy I was able to make a photo of it for them!
Finally, I made a photo of an older couple dancing during the night. Unbeknownst to me, the couple are long-time family friends that were nearing their 50th wedding anniversary. Because of health issues, this was one of the first times they had been able to get out together in a while.
Wedding days are full of these special little moments, and it brings joy to my heart when I can capture them for my clients!
